Description
Work from home mom is seeking a loving and proactive nanny to take care of her daughters part time. The oldest will be in school three days a week the first few months, then will go to 4 or 5 days a week after that maybe. The nanny needs to be able to manage both girls effectively but ultimately the majority of the care will be for the youngest. A nanny with extensive experience working with toddlers is required. An education background would be preferred but not required.
The family has one quiet dog in the home. They are a Christian family but they do not discriminate on who works for them. They do hope that the nanny will be comfortable with reading the girls Christian literature as well as being okay if the family prays occasionally while nanny is there.
Also, please keep in mind Mom works from home and will be the one picking up the girls from school as she does not feel comfortable having the nanny drive the children but could perhaps be open to it in the future.
Some nights, weekends, and/or overnights will be needed but will be requested with advanced notice.
Responsibilities
This family appreciates a structured routine and will like the nanny to be able to accomplish the following tasks in a timely and organized manner while still ensuring the girls have a fun day that is engaging and developmentally appropriate.
- Prepare all kids meals and snacks
- Keep the house tidy by keeping up with children\'s laundry, dishes, emptying diaper pails, kitchen garbage, and organizing and putting away toys/activities.
- Go on walks around gated community, or go to local park. (Mom prefers no driving, but might be open to short local trips after trust has been established)
- Plan and enact fun and engaging activities that are age appropriate
- Foster learning
- Bathe girls in the evening
- Stick to a routine but be proactive and flexible if change need to occur
Qualifications
-  3 or more years experience working with toddlers
- CPR/First Aid
- 1 Year commitment (although family could consider a slightly shorter commitment for the right candidate)
