DESCRIPTION:
This active family is seeking a professional full-time Nanny & Family Assistant to help care for their children and ensure that the household runs smoothly. Their ideal candidate is patient, calm, proactive, and highly organized. A typical day will include performing light-housekeeping (family laundry/unloading & loading dishwasher/ general tidying), assisting with the children’s morning routine, performing school drop-off/pick-up, helping the eldest child with her homework, engaging the children with various age-appropriate activities, assisting with dinner prep (chopping veggies/starting a crockpot/etc), taking the family’s senior Labrador Retriever for a short walk and ensuring the dog has water, grocery shopping once to twice per week, and completing light miscellaneous tasks, as-needed. The children will be in school/daycare for part of the time each week, which is when the Nanny/FA will be able to focus more on household duties. Please note that the Nanny/FA will be regularly working alongside the mother as a well-integrated team. The family also needs half-day help on the weekends, so the Nanny/FA could provide occasional weekend care or the individual could choose to work every Saturday or Sunday. However, a separate Nanny/FA could be employed for on-call/part-time weekend care. Candidates must have professional childcare-related experience, along with assistance or management experience, to be considered for this position. A one-year commitment is required, but the parents are seeking someone more long-term that will become a trusted extension of their family. This family would also like to hire ASAP.
