This caring, close-knit family is seeking a professional full-time long-term nanny to help care for their three children. Their ideal candidate is kind, genuine, intuitive, thoughtful, attentive, and patient. A typical day will include preparing bottles/well-balanced meals for the children, actively engaging the children with developmentally-appropriate activities (no electronics/t.v.), accompanying the children to extracurricular activities, and performing light-housekeeping. Both parents work from home in a separate office, but the parents would like to work with the nanny as a well-integrated team while trust is being established. For example, the nanny will join the entire family to take the children to extracurricular activities. Once trust has been thoroughly established, the nanny will care for the infant at home while the parents take the two older children to extracurricular activities. This family utilizes cloth diapers, so the nanny must be comfortable using and laundering cloth diapers. Please note that the nanny must be comfortable with pets as well, but the family’s pets are mainly outdoor-only. The mother occasionally travels to the Bay Area for work and would like the nanny to occasionally accompany her for a night or two with the infant, as-needed (this is not required). Experience with Waldorf, Montessori, and RIE would be a desirable bonus. The nanny must have experience with professional infant care. A one-year commitment is required, but the parents are seeking someone more long-term that will become a trusted extension of their family. This family would like to hire asap, but will wait for the right person.

Alternate Schedules:

The family will also consider the following two work schedules for the right candidate:

Monday – Friday (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM) OR (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
