This Arden-Arcade family is looking for a nanny for their two preteen daughters. The position’s hours are from 1pm to 6pm during the school year, but there is flexibility for more hours in the summer. In addition to the two girls, the family has one dog. While care is not expected for their pet, other than occasionally letting him out, the family would like their nanny to be a dog lover.

Their 13-year-old is creative and outgoing and loves to read. She has high-functioning autism and ADHD, which mostly manifests in social situations. She’s also very bright and engaging.

Their 11-year-old is shy at first, but once she gets to know a person, she’s all in. She has some learning disabilities and requires tutoring and extra help with her homework. She’s also silly and warm and grows very attached to people.

The whole family is very close-knit. They enjoy getting outside, playing board games, traveling (pre-COVID), and hanging out with their dog. Mom and Dad both work from home, but Dad travels a lot.

This position would require driving the girls to and from school and activities. There is also some light housework involved like laundry, meal prep, and running errands. Mom and Dad would also prefer someone who can provide homework assistance.
