This caring, close-knit family is seeking a professional long-term Nanny & Family Assistant to help their household run smoothly while caring for their four sweet children. The candidate will be able to enjoy plenty of fresh air and time outdoors, as this family has a beautiful home situated on 10-acres of property. Their ideal candidate is kindhearted, positive, fun-loving, organized, flexible, and proactive. A typical day will include preparing well-balanced meals for the children, engaging the children with creative developmentally-appropriate activities, enjoying a fun outing, swimming in the summertime, tending to the family’s laundry, cleaning any messes that are made throughout the day, and assisting with miscellaneous tasks upon request. The mother works from home in a separate space, but she would like to work with the Nanny/FA as a well-integrated team whenever present. This easy going, friendly mother looks forward to establishing a mutually respectful relationship with the Nanny/FA. Please note that all of the children are home-schooled, which the mother spearheads, but the Nanny/FA will oversee their school work and offer a little assistance whenever needed. The Nanny/FA will often only be caring for one to two children at a time, but will need to be comfortable supervising all four. Please note that the Nanny/FA must be pet-friendly as well, because the family’s two Bulldogs and cat will appreciate a little TLC. Ample flexibility is also very important, as the candidate will need to provide semi-regular weekday evening care and occasional overnight care/Saturday evening care/travel care (accompanying the parent(s) for work trips). The Nanny/FA must have professional childcare-related experience to be considered for this position. A one-year commitment is required as well, but the parents are hoping that someone will become an even more long-term extension of their family. Knowledge of child development would be a bonus. This family would like to hire ASAP, but will wait for the right person.
