This Arden-Arcade family needs a part-time newborn care specialist starting ASAP and lasting for 5 weeks. The family has 1 large dog, so their nanny will need to be a dog lover.

Their ideal candidate is seasoned, knowledgeable, nurturing, calm, and someone who can support them in their new role by providing education and helpful advice. Duties will include: implementing healthy sleep habits from the beginning, preparing bottles, recording the infant’s feedings/diapering/etc., and performing baby-related light housekeeping.

Mom would also like advice on sleep training. She is triple feeding and would like to continue, so the family’s nanny will need to be comfortable with that. At present, the baby sleeps in a bassinet in Mom and Dad’s room, so the family will need assistance transitioning the baby into his own room. There is a possibility this position could move to 5 days a week and/or last longer than 5 weeks.

Professional infant care experience is required, and formal NCS/PPD training would be preferred.
