DESCRIPTION:
This close-knit family is seeking a professional nanny to care for their explorative little one, who is currently crawling and learning to walk. Their ideal candidate is friendly, loving, patient, engaging, and creative. A typical day will include preparing bottles/meals for the child, engaging the child with a variety of developmentally-appropriate indoor activities, enjoying a walk to the local park, and performing child-related light-housekeeping. The mother will be in and out of the home, but generally preoccupied with other tasks. Please note that the nanny must be comfortable with pets as well, since the family has two large-breed dogs. The parents would love to enjoy an occasional date night, involving evening/weekend care. It is also important that the nanny be able to respect privacy and practice discretion while working with this family. Monday/Wednesday/Friday would be preferred, but the nanny is welcome to select any three weekdays for the work schedule. Professional infant care experience and a minimum 6-month commitment are required for this position. The parents would like to hire ASAP!
