This Granite Bay family is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to entrust with the future overnight care of their newborn son. Their baby will be delivered on May 10 via c-section, so the position would begin the first night home from the hospital. This position will be 4 months in duration.

Their ideal candidate is seasoned, knowledgeable, nurturing, calm, and someone who can support them in their new role by providing education and helpful advice. Duties will include: implementing healthy sleep habits from the beginning—which is very important to this family— preparing bottles, recording the infant’s feedings/diapering/etc., and performing baby-related light housekeeping. The family has a gentle, large breed dog as well, so they are seeking someone who is comfortable with pets.

Professional infant care experience is required, and formal NCS/PPD training would be preferred. The parents would like to meet and sign a contract with the chosen infant caregiver as soon as possible, but they will wait for the right person.
