THIS POSITION IS FILLED. This loving family is seeking a professional long-term nanny for their infant. Their ideal candidate is kind-hearted, easy going, patient, and proactive. A typical day will include working alongside the mother as a well-integrated team, preparing bottles/meals for the child, engaging the child with various developmentally-appropriate activities, enjoying a walk for fresh air, assisting with errands, helping the mother with miscellaneous tasks, and regularly performing light-housekeeping. Once trust has been thoroughly established, the nanny will be welcome to drive the child for fun outings and errands. It’s important that the nanny have a genuine love of children, as this family’s number-one priority is their little bundle of joy. The mother will sometimes be busy studying and working in a separate office. Please note that an occasional Saturday or Sunday shift may be requested when the father is traveling for work. However, the candidate may choose to work every Saturday/Sunday if they’d prefer to. The nanny must have experience with professional infant care. Knowledge of child development would be a bonus! A one-year commitment is required, but the parents are seeking someone more long-term that will become a trusted extension of their family. This family would like to hire asap, but will wait for the right person.
