This family is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to entrust with the future overnight care of their newborn son. Their baby is due February 21, 2020, so the position would begin the first night home from hospital. This position will be 12 weeks in duration. Their ideal candidate is seasoned, knowledgeable, nurturing, calm, and someone who can support them in their new role by providing education and helpful advice. Duties will include implementing healthy sleep habits from the beginning, which is very important to this family; preparing bottles, recording the infant’s feedings/diapering/etc. and performing baby-related light housekeeping. The family has a small breed dog as well so they are seeking someone comfortable with pets. Professional infant care experience is required, along with an up-to-date TDAP vaccination (within the last ten years). Formal NCS/PPD training would be preferred. The parents would like to meet and sign a contract with the chosen infant caregiver as soon as possible, but they will wait for the right person.
