This active, close-knit family is seeking a full-time nanny for their bright toddler and newest addition. The mother will be returning to work in mid November, which is when the position will begin. Their ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, educational, loving, and highly engaging. Outings, developmentally-appropriate learning activities, and art projects will be strongly encouraged. Responsibilities will include bottle/meal preparation for the children, child-related light-housekeeping, and pick-up from the toddler’s nearby preschool each day. The father works from home in a separate upstairs office. It is important that the nanny be comfortable with pets, as they have a friendly dog that is part of their family as well. This position will be four to five days per week, with each work day starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM. Forty hours per week will always be guaranteed, as one work day between Monday and Friday may be excluded, as-needed. The nanny will be given six months of advance notice for exact scheduling. Knowledge of a foreign language would be a bonus. Professional infant care experience and a minimum one-year commitment are required for this position, but the parents are seeking someone more long-term that will become a trusted extension of their family. The family would also like to begin the hiring process asap!
