Position title
Reliable and Experienced Full Time Nanny Needed ASAP in El Dorado Hills (FILLED)
Description

Are you an experienced and caring nanny looking for a long-term role with a wonderful family? A family in El Dorado Hills is seeking a dependable and nurturing full-time nanny to join their household starting as soon as possible. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who loves working with infants and young children and thrives in a structured yet flexible environment.

The nannies duties will be focused on their adorable 5 month old baby girl. Big brother, who is almost 3, will be in school full time and will not require much care other than dropping off to school each morning and pick ups three days a week. The nanny should possess the skills and experience however to manage two children for those moments when both are present.

There will be three long days that are nearly 12 hours each, those days both parents work out of the home and therefore the nanny will need to be able to work independently and be able to manage their energy and time in a way that allows everyone to thrive and have a good day. Those days start very early as well, therefore the nanny needs to be able to arrive on time each morning every time. There will be two shorter days as well which is a nice bonus for someone who would like to have some weekday hours available for running their own errands and/or enjoys getting an earlier start to their weekends.

The care of their 5 month old will include all baby related duties such as diapers, bottles (preparing, feeding, sanitizing), maintaining healthy sleep routines, tummy time, sensory activities, and introductions to solids when appropriate. For older brother care will be limited to making sure he is ready for school, getting him there each morning, and picking him up and getting him a snack and an activity on the three longer days.

The family will provide a vehicle for the nanny to use on the job. The school is nearby and there are also some parks and SeaQuest nearby that the nanny can take the children to on occasion, once trust has been established.

The nanny will also be responsible for some household tasks such as light meal prep for the family, children's laundry, tidying up children's areas, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and putting away groceries. The family would like a nanny who is proactive and can look around and see what needs to be done to maintain a healthy environments and get it done without having to be asked or given lists.

There is an older border collie who recently had leg surgery but is recovering well. He will be mainly in his own area and the only care he will require is making sure he has fresh water and occasionally letting him out to pee.

This is a wonderful long term job opportunity for an experienced nanny looking for full time hours with great benefits. The family is hoping to find a dedicated nanny who loves working with children, who is organized, flexible, and able to maintain a structured environment for their children. This is a longterm position with a steady schedule, so please only apply if you can commit to this work schedule for at least one year. With the hopes of staying on even longer.
