This amazing East Sacramento family is seeking a loving and dedicated nanny to help care for their son part time. He was born with a rare genetic disorder and therefore will need some extra care and attention. He is small for his age and has some developmental delays that he receives therapy for on a daily basis. He is a generally happy and snuggly toddler though, and a joy to be around. The family is hoping for a nanny that has some experience having worked with children with unique medical needs, but it happy to train the right candidate if they do not have prior experience. He is eating solid foods but also has a feeding tube that the nanny will need to be comfortable with learning how to manage on occasion.
Mom and Dad work out of the house over half the time and therefore the nanny will need to be able to work autonomously, be able to handle any issues that may arise calmly and carefully. The parents are hoping to find a nanny that will become a part of the family and stay for years to come. They are friendly and outgoing and hope to find the same in a nanny. They will also need occasional help with date nights and weekends. They can offer a few more hours if the nanny is open to taking on some additional household/family assistant type tasks such as laundry and meal prep. Up to 35 Hours maximum.
Knowledge of basic sign language is a huge bonus but not required.
