This amazing East Sacramento family is seeking a loving and dedicated nanny to help care for their son part time. He was born with a rare genetic disorder and therefore will need some extra care and attention. He is small for his age and has some developmental delays that he receives therapy for on a daily basis. He is a generally happy and snuggly toddler though, and a joy to be around. The family is hoping for a nanny that is either experienced in these sorts of things or willing and able to learn and aid in his daily therapies which include speech, OT, and physical therapy. He is eating solid foods but also has a feeding tube that the nanny will need to be comfortable using, the family can train the nanny to use it properly.
Mom and Dad work out of the house over half the time and therefore the nanny will need to be able to work autonomously, be able to handle any medical issues that may arise calmly and carefully. The parents are hoping to find a nanny that will become a part of the family and stay for years to come. They are friendly and outgoing and hope to find the same in a nanny. They will also need occasional help with date nights and weekends. They can possibly offer a few more hours if the nanny is open to taking on some additional household/family assistant type tasks such as laundry and meal prep. Knowledge of basic sign language is a huge bonus but not required.
The family has some flexibility on schedule. They could use someone Thursday and Fridays only. They could also do M-F 28-35+ hours per week if the nanny is open to doing family assistant tasks as well.
