This adorable family of four is seeking a professional, nurturing, and energetic nanny to care for their two boys. This family values imaginative play, positive reinforcement, and flexibility, looking for a nanny who feels like part of the family. The ideal candidate will have experience with toddlers and preschoolers. Their parenting style involves teaching their children accountability and autonomy by using gentle but firm boundaries, patience, and consistency.

The nanny will be caring for both boys on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have a 1.5 year old son who is is a happy, curious, and generally an easy going little guy. Their 3 1/2-year-old attends preschool on MWF from 8:30 to 11:30 AM, and potentially these hours will be extended to 3:30 PM in the future.This active little boy needs lots of physical activities like walks, trips to the parks, dancing, imaginative play with cars and costumes. They both love being outdoors, playing with each other, and attending library story time. The ideal nanny will be able to handle two little ones under 4 and have the ability to turn everyday moments, (sometimes even difficult ones) into playful, educational experiences.

The nanny’s responsibilities will be focused on the boys but if they happen to both be napping or the nanny has some spare time; help with the boys laundry would be appreciated. General tidying up after activities and meals will be expected. The parents handle all the food prep but if nanny enjoys cooking and wants to contribute their skills sometimes, they would love the extra help.
