A warm, first-time family in Folsom is excited to welcome a loving and confident nanny to care for their 2-month-old baby starting mid-October. They value trust, communication, and consistency as they navigate their little one’s first year and hope to find a professional who feels like a true partner in their parenting journey. Their home is very walkable with a nearby park, and they share life with a friendly, happy dog who may occasionally need a daycare drop-off. The family expects this role to run through summer 2026 when the family plans on relocating again, for a total of about 10 months.

The family is seeking a nurturing and dependable nanny with strong infant experience who can provide attentive care and steady support for first-time parents. They’d love someone who is communicative, organized, and able to confidently guide daily routines while still being flexible as needs evolve. A professional who is comfortable working independently (while mom is often home), can anticipate what needs to be done, and provides a calm, reassuring presence will thrive in this role. Preference is given to seasoned nannies who are confident in supporting families through their baby’s first year.

Job Synopsis:

This position is anticipated to be 3-4 days per week (MWF or MWTh),8-3 though the schedule is estimated and may shift over time. Duties include attentive infant care, feeding, tracking naps, tummy time, walks, and developmental play, along with light household support such as baby laundry, bottle/pump part cleaning, and tidying baby areas. Occasional overnights may be requested as the baby grows, and while travel is unlikely, the family would like someone open to the possibility. A reliable car is required, with mileage reimbursement provided for driving. Full time (or close to it) hours are guaranteed, even if fewer are needed in a given week.
