Friendly and Dedicated Full Time Nanny Needed in Elk Grove to Care for a 8 Month Old (Job ID #2096079 )

This lovely Elk Grove Family is seeking a full time nanny to care for their sweet 8 month old daughter starting October 2024. They are flexible on the start date but hope to have someone settled in by the beginning of November. They are looking for someone that can become part of the family for years to come. Their ideal nanny has several years experience working with babies and toddlers and able to plan and execute fun days that foster growth and development for their daughter. They would like a nanny that is engaging, thoughtful, interactive, encouraging, and warm. House work is not required but they would appreciate someone who keeps the environment safe and clean. When their daughter gets a bit older they are happy for the nanny to take their daughter to fun activities around town such as the zoo, library, and classes. The nanny will need to have their own safe and reliable vehicle, but the family will provide a car seat and mileage reimbursement. 

Their daughter is an affable little girl who loves playing outside,  trying new foods, and being read to. They have her on a regular routine for naps, feedings, and playtime. They describe their parenting style as structured with healthy boundaries, but lots of love and affection. They are hoping the nanny can help introduce their daughter to numbers, colors, letters, and more through play and activities. She is not a huge fan of the stroller quite yet but shorts walks around the neighborhood are great and she loves being in a front facing carrier.  The family has two friendly cats that will not require any care. Mom works out of the home most days, dad works from home full time and is happy to join in occasional activities if his schedule allows. The schedule will be quite regular, with a rare occasion that they might need the nanny to stay a bit later, with notice.
