Description
A warm and laid-back family is seeking an engaging, loving, and reliable nanny to care for their baby boy who will be six months soon. This part-time position offers a consistent schedule of Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with opportunities to possibly add hours later in the year. The family values a nanny who is playful, attentive, and knowledgeable about infant development. Their ideal nanny is extremely engaging and attuned to their babies needs. Outside time via stroller walks is encouraged. When their son is older they are open to the nanny driving him to fun local activities. A reliable vehicle with full coverage insurance will be needed. Family will reimburse for mileage.
A nanny who is aware of developmental milestones and is able to help their son reach these through play. Their son is still taking several naps a day and is being bottle fed. The nanny will be responsible for maintaining a healthy routine that is adaptable and flexible to baby boys needs. This is a child focused role, so other than light tidying up of child related activities no other household tasks will be required. This family has three sweet dogs. None of them will require care other than perhaps being let out to pee.
This family has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and appreciates a professional yet easy going nanny who feels at home while providing excellent care. With both parents working from home, the nanny will have a supportive environment to thrive in. The family also has a housemate that works from home, he will typically be in his office most of the day.

Responsibilities
•Provide attentive care for an infant, including feeding, diaper changes, and playtime.
•Plan engaging activities such as tummy time, walks, and interactive play.
•Follow the baby’s cues and schedule, including rocking to sleep and nap routines.
•Encourage developmental milestones like rolling over and reaching.
•Light tidying of baby areas and maintaining a clean, organized space.
•Communicate openly with parents about the baby’s needs and milestones.
•Occasionally assist with short outings or future playdates.
Qualifications
•At least 2 years of professional nannying, working primarily with babies and toddlers.
•Knowledge of early childhood development and creative approaches to learning.
•Clean driving record and reliable vehicle with full coverage insurance.
•Current TDAP vaccination, as well as a recent clear TB test.
•Strong communicator and a team player who values a supportive family dynamic.
•Comfortable with a multiple dogs (minimal care required).
