Busy Family In Arden Seeks Responsible and Positive Nanny/Family Assistant Full Time ASAP (Part Time Option Available Also) (Job ID# 2245595)

This loving and busy Christian family is seeking an experienced and dedicated nanny/household manager to join their household. The position involves a busy schedule on Mondays and Tuesdays, tapering down from Wednesday to Friday, with 1st and 3rd Fridays off. They will guarantee 36 hours but some weeks there will be closer to 45. **There is also a part time schedule option: Full days T and Th and Alternating M or F depending on week.

The family consists of three wonderful children: The independent and responsible oldest (14), who is a great student and a loving big sister; the middle son (10), who is laid-back, loves soccer, and is sensitive; and the youngest (6), their sweet, bubbly, and active youngest who loves reading and outdoor activities like hiking. The parents' combined parenting style merges healthy boundaries given with love and respect. They are very involved in their children’s lives, often tag-teaming on parenting duties when they are home.

They are looking for a candidate who is autonomous and not in need of micromanagement as both parents work outside the home. Someone cheerful and gentle but able to be firm when necessary, and is organized and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate loves working with children, is passionate about their role, and is comfortable with a Christian household. Minimal piercings or tattoos are preferred, and flexibility for occasional overnight care would be great, but not required.

Since all three children are in school, during the school year the majority of the time spent will be on household tasks such laundry, tidying, organizing, cleaning out fridge, running errands, groceries, meal prep , etc. They would like someone with a can do attitude that can be proactive about keeping the household well managed without needing constant direction as well as someone who is willing to do what needs to be done. The family does have housekeepers come regularly so no deep cleaning will be necessary.

Their ideal candidate is great with school age kids as there will hands on time with the kids when they are not in school. The nanny will need a reliable vehicle as they will need to be able to take children to school and pick them up as well, or take them to other fun activities when time permits. The kids will be enrolled in summer camps a good amount of time, but likely the 6 year old will be home more than the older children.
