You’re warm, calm, and highly in-tune with the needs of newborns. You’re able to recognize physical and emotional cues and feel confident managing feedings, naps, and gentle stimulation. You’re familiar with developmental milestones and know how to support a baby’s growth through activities like tummy time, fresh air, and responsive caregiving.

This kind and thoughtful family lives in Midtown Sacramento and is looking for a nurturing nanny to care for their 2-month-old baby while mom transitions back to part-time work. Mom primarily works from home and will be present most days, though she may occasionally step out for errands. The household includes a gentle and sleepy 13-year-old dog who mostly keeps to himself.

Their older daughter, age 3, attends daycare and is not expected to be home during nanny hours—though there may be occasional overlap if daycare is closed or hours expand though so the nanny needs to be able to handle that as well.
