Position title
Sweet Pocket Area Family Seeks Gentle, Dog-Loving Newborn Nanny Starting July (Job # 2940503)
Description

A warm, first-time family in East Sacramento is seeking a nurturing and experienced Newborn Nanny to join their household beginning mid-to-late July. The family is exploring both part-time and full-time options depending on how Mom’s return to work unfolds. Ideally, they are hoping for Monday–Thursday coverage, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (approximately 34 hours/week), but there is some flexibility with days and hours.

They’re looking for a nanny who is gentle, calm, and experienced with infants, and who can offer thoughtful support and guidance as the family navigates their early parenting journey. The ideal candidate is not only deeply nurturing but also confident around dogs—someone who enjoys being around pets and knows how to maintain calm, consistent boundaries. Their large, friendly dog is part of the family and does best with caregivers who are dog-savvy and comfortable giving affection while reinforcing simple commands.

This is a household that values daily outdoor time, meaningful connection, and a collaborative spirit. A strong fit for this role is someone who’s proactive, supportive, and excited to grow with a young family.
