Position title
Seeking an Adventurous Water Loving Nanny to Care for Toddler this Summer in Lake of the Pines (Job ID# 2908126)
Description

A warm, active family summering in Lake of the Pines is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their adventurous toddler, with occasional care for two older siblings (3 and 5). The two older siblings are scheduled to be in summer camps the entire time but could possibly be home a few of the days. The role runs from mid-June to mid-August (approx. 8 weeks), with general hours from 9 AM to 5 PM with a bit of flexibility. Occasional weekend help is desired, and the family plans to return for weekend visits throughout the coming year—making this a great ongoing opportunity for an experienced nanny looking to build a long-term connection.

This role is best suited to someone who’s confident, loving, and experienced with multiple children. While most of the day will focus on the toddler, the nanny should feel comfortable juggling care for all three kids as needed—pay will be adjusted accordingly. The ideal fit is a proactive self-starter, a great communicator, and a true team player who can partner well with involved, friendly parents. Swimming skills are a must, and occasional driving for camp pickups or local outings may be required (a family car can be provided).

The parents both work in and out of the home, the dad travels often for work. There is a small chance the nanny might be able to travel with them for a couple days to visit family, but it is not set in stone nor required. Some light tidying up, kids meal prep, and organization will be required as well. This is a super fun job opportunity for an upbeat, outdoor loving nanny with lots of experience!

Responsibilities

• Focused care for 2 Year old
• Child related tidying up, including children's laundry
• Putting away groceries
• Toy and activity organization
• Feeding the children healthy meals and snacks
• Bonus pay available for light cooking
• Confidently managing three children when needed (higher pay provided for these days)

Qualifications
  • 3 Years Minimum experience working with toddlers and preschoolers
  • Experience managing multiple children at once
  • Strong Swimming skills, CPR certification
  • Ability to arrive to work on time every day
  • Flexibility to stay later or work weekends on occasion
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage time and get things done without having to be instructed
  • Good team work ethic, willingness to work with parents in the home on occasion
Job Benefits

This is a temporary position and therefore does not offer benefits, however the family is willing to pay nanny through payroll if that is preferred.
