This Carmichael family is seeking a full-time nanny for their infant son. Their ideal nanny is positive, caring, supportive, and communicative. They are also looking for a pet lover since they have an elderly dog who will need to be let out during the day. That’s the only care required for their pet.

Their son is a happy baby who loves babbling and scooting across the floor. He currently loves to be entertained, but Mom and Dad would like their nanny to help them work on creating independence. Outdoor time is very important to Mom and Dad, so they want their nanny to take their son on at least one walk a day. They also value books and reading.

Mom currently works from home but has a separate office and is respectful of the nanny’s space. She would like the option to drop in from time to time and say hello to her son and possibly help the nanny with lunch. She will be returning to the office in July. Dad goes to work outside of the home. Their son will be taking swimming lessons, and Mom and Dad would like their nanny to help take him to and from those lessons.

This position does require some light housekeeping as it relates to childcare—sanitizing toys, infant laundry, and cleaning up after meals. Mom and Dad would like their nanny to drive their son to and from activities as well.

This family is looking to establish a long-term relationship, so they require at least a 1-year commitment. They are very generous with vacation and sick leave, and they offer mileage reimbursement and food as well.
