DESCRIPTION:
This Land Park family is looking for a long-term nanny to help with their 15-year-old daughter who has development delays and is non-verbal. She is a happy young lady who loves riding her razor bike while on walks with her service dog. She loves interacting with animals, especially horses, and riding carousels and golf carts.
Due to her developmental delays, she requires constant oversight and care, and she needs consistent input to aid in her development. Mom and Dad have worked with her a lot, and she shows progress every day. They seek a nanny who will research their daughter’s syndrome and help their child make strides.
This position will be very rewarding for the right person. This family is piloting a groundbreaking study that could potentially change the medical world and provide crucial insight into autism, Alzheimer’s, and some cancers. Their ideal nanny would be interested in science, health, or special education and would be excited to be part of these medical discoveries.
During COVID, their daughter will go to school on a rotating schedule—2 days per week one week and then 3 days per week the following week. The family needs their nanny to be flexible with this schedule and to be available on Saturday mornings as well. On in-school days, the hours would be 3pm-7pm, and on non-school days, the hours would be 9am-5pm.
The family would like their nanny to love animals as they have a Labrador Retriever service animal and two horses stabled off-site.
Because of the nature of this position, Mom and Dad would love to find someone who can make a long-term commitment. They offer a generous benefits package and first-class travel accommodations when the family travels. They value reliability and maturity and would like to make a real connection with their nanny.
If you think you are the right person to work with this amazing, unique girl, please apply today. Remember, all of our nannies receive guaranteed hours, paid time off, sick days, and holiday pay!
This easy going family is seeking a professional nanny for their active young toddler who is crawling now and will be walking soon. Their ideal candidate is loving, energetic, organized, and proactive. A typical day will include preparing well-balanced meals for the child, engaging the child with play-based learning activities, reading, enjoying a fun adventure, swimming in the family’s pool during the summer, and cleaning up any messes that are made throughout the day. Once trust has been established, the nanny will drive the child in a family vehicle for one fun outing “adventure” per day, which could include library story time, the park, the zoo, a class, etc. This family also has a sweet 5-year-old child that will need care when she is on school break or home sick. Please note that the mother will be present, but she’ll be busy working from home. The mother occasionally travels for a few days and will not be home during those time periods. This family also has a friendly black Labrador Retriever, who will simply need potty breaks and extra TLC. Bilingualism in Italian would be a bonus. A one-year commitment is required. This family would like to hire ASAP!
